"From Strength to Strength"

If you are "of a certain age" (40+) I would like to recommend Arthur Brooks' new book, "From Strength to Strength". I listened to it on audio and liked it enough that I ordered a hard copy so I could read it more deliberately.

Perhaps my favorite quote (which is not necessarily representative of the book's theme):

"[M]atters are hardly helped by Mother Nature's useful idiots in society, who propogate a popular piece of life-ruining advice: "If it feels good, do it." Unless you share existential goals with protozoa, this is often flat-out wrong."
